Eliana Update

So I have been slacking with posting new pictures/videos etc. up for Eliana on facebook and since videos take foooooorever to upload on fb I decided to just post them on the blog. Way easier. Anyhow here is what we have been up to with our little booger for the past 2 months. I still can't believe she is almost half way done with her first year of life. Time is just zooming by. Enjoy!

Eliana laughed for the first time about 2 months ago and then we tried everything to get her to repeat it, but she just wasn't having it. Finally about 4 days ago she decided to laugh again. Thank goodness. I was starting to think she was broken. Anyhow this is the video of her first official laugh :)

We started Eliana on solids a few weeks ago. In the beginning it was just your basic rice cereal, but since then she has tried Carrots, Bananas, Broccoli, Spinach, Prunes, Pears, Avocado and Cucumber. So far she has loved everything except Cucumbers. Her disgust at the taste was too precious to not capture on film.

Eliana recently learned how to sit up all by herself as well. She is still working on the whole balancing issue, but so far she is pretty good. Also please excuse her rude behavior, she burped and is still learning how to say "Excuse Me" :)

Well that's all for now. Is it bad that I still have 6 months until she turns 1, but I am already planning her birthday? : )
